BRITNEY TO TELL ALL
In an upcoming documentary for MTV, the pop star will discuss the events of the past two years of her life including being hospitalized twice and losing custody of her two sons. At one point in the 90-minute film Britney says quote "I'm a smart person, what the hell was I thinking?" The doc - tentatively called "For the Record" - airs November 30, two days before her new album Circus drops.
CONCERT FOR DJ AM
Friends of DJ AM are staging a welcome home concert for the plane crash survivor in LA next week. Mark Ronson and DJ Steve Aoki will perform at the event at the Avalon in Hollywood Tuesday. Proceeds from the show will go to a memorial fund in honour of the four people killed in the September 19 crash.
MARY J. WANTS YOU TO SMELL GOOD
Mary J. Blige is the latest celebrity to launch her own fragrance line. Mary told Women's Wear Daily,"I've always wanted to do a fragrance because I love when men and women smell good." The perfume line, which is set for release in 2009, already has a name but Mary's not spilling saying, "The name of it just came to me, but I can't tell you."
GNR SET RELEASE DATE
Guns N' Roses have finally pinned down a date for their much anticipated album of mythic proportions, Chinese Democracy! The album that has been 14 years in the making is set to be released state-side, November 23. Nine tracks from the album were leaked earlier this year by a blogger who was later apprehended by the FBI.
JOLIE GIVES BRAD CREDIT FOR BABIES
Angelina Jolie has revealed that Brad Pitt is the reason she decided to have biological children. The famous mother of six told W magazine that she had planned on only adopting until Brad changed her mind saying, "I suppose I just looked at him and loved him and just felt open to (getting pregnant)". Jolie was photographed breast-feeding by Brad in the latest issue of W magazine.
